Zhengzhou Fenghuang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a large-scale private enterprise in China engaged in the production of submerged-arc welding fluxes and serves as a member unit of the National Welding Materials Standards Committee.

The company was founded in 2013. Its parent entity, Zhengzhou Heli Flux Factory, was established in 1997; in 2003, Zhengzhou Heli Welding Materials Co., Ltd. was incorporated; and in 2008, a joint venture with Lincoln Electric of the United States, Lincoln Electric Heli (Zhengzhou) Welding Materials Co., Ltd., was set up. In 2021, following a full repurchase by the Chinese partner, the company was renamed Zhonghan Heli (Zhengzhou) New Materials Co., Ltd. Through years of relentless effort, it has now grown into a national “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative Little Giant” enterprise, a Henan Provincial High-Tech Enterprise, a science-and-tech–oriented small and medium-sized enterprise, a Grade-A Quality Integrity Enterprise in Henan Province, and a Quality Benchmark Enterprise in Henan Province—integrating R&D, production, sales, and technical services for new welding materials. The company has also been honored with the Henan Provincial May Day Labor Award, the Zhengzhou City May Day Labor Award, the Gongyi City Mayor's Quality Award, and recognition as one of the Top 30 Enterprises in Gongyi City for Supporting and Strengthening Outstanding Firms.

Through technical exchanges and collaborations with renowned domestic and international welding consumables R&D institutions, it has developed more than 30 product varieties, which are widely used in equipment manufacturing, offshore engineering and shipbuilding, aerospace, bridge construction, offshore platforms, oil and gas transmission, nuclear power, wind power, and other emerging energy sectors. The company has also participated in major domestic and international projects, including the prefabricated buildings in the Olympic Village for the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Bird's Nest, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge, the Dayangshan Project, the Hangzhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge, the National West-to-East Gas Pipeline, the Pakistan Pipeline, the Western Section of the Third West–China Natural Gas Pipeline, and the fourth phase of the China–Russia Energy Pipeline's western route. Fenghuang New Materials has been recognized by state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises—including China Shipbuilding, Sinopec, PetroChina, CNOOC, and Bohai Equipment—as a primary supplier of welding materials. At the same time, in alignment with China's Belt and Road Initiative, its products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions, including the Middle East, Turkey, the European Union, Southeast Asia, India, Russia, South Korea, and Taiwan.

The company operates five independently developed, fully automated digital production lines that are protected by complete proprietary intellectual property rights, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes of the full range of submerged-arc sintered fluxes and 50,000 tonnes of submerged-arc melting fluxes. These capabilities deliver unparalleled advantages in product stability and cost control, and the company's practices have been recognized by the Welding Society of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society as a benchmark case for industry-wide promotion.
