Phoenix New Materials Invited to Attend the 5th New Materials Industry Development Conference

From October 16 to 18, 2024, the Fifth China New Materials Industry Development Conference and the Inaugural New Materials Deviceization Expo, co-hosted by the Chinese Materials Research Society and the Management Committee of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, were held at the Wuhan Sports Center. Nearly 8,000 delegates, including academicians, experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials from the global new materials sector, attended the event.

The conference is themed “Accelerating Major Breakthroughs in Critical Strategic Materials to Holistically Promote the High-Quality Development of New-Generation Productive Forces,” with a focus on the critical needs of emerging industries of the future, exploration of groundbreaking advances in cutting-edge new materials, and comprehensive support for elevating high-tech industries, high-end manufacturing, major engineering projects, and emerging sectors to higher levels of performance. The event features nearly 80 parallel sessions and forums spanning seven major categories: critical foundational materials, critical energy materials, critical information materials, biomedical materials, health-and-comfort materials, environmental-engineering materials, and safety-engineering materials—covering the entire spectrum of these fields. By centering on major technological breakthroughs achieved over the past five years, the conference aims to foster deep integration among the scientific community, the business sector, and the investment community, accelerate the industrialization and practical application of new materials, and thereby build new-generation productive forces.
