Zhengzhou Fenghuang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is an integrated manufacturer of submerged-arc welding fluxes, encompassing research and development, production, and sales. The company is designed to produce 100,000 metric tons per year of sintered submerged-arc welding flux and 100,000 metric tons per year of melted submerged-arc welding flux. Established in October 2014, the company has introduced advanced foreign equipment and process technologies for submerged-arc welding flux production, steadily growing into a leading domestic producer of submerged-arc welding consumables. The headquarters is located in the CBD Business Center of Zhengzhou, Henan Province, while the production base is situated in the Gongdong New Industrial Park in Gongyi, Zhengzhou. The facility covers a total land area of 100,000 square meters, with a building footprint of 38,000 square meters. The registered capital stands at RMB 61.9721 million, and the planned fixed-asset investment amounts to RMB 300 million.

Sudden, extreme torrential rainfall has plunged Xiaoguan Town in Gongyi City into floodwaters, causing extensive damage to infrastructure, farmland, and homes, as well as disruptions to power, communications, water supply, and gas services. For a time, several townships were cut off from the outside world, leaving countless residents in dire straits and facing severe shortages of daily necessities. In the face of this once-in-decades disaster, Zhang Hongwei, Chairman of Zhengzhou Phoenix Technology New Materials Co., Ltd., has not only organized internal self-help efforts but has also remained deeply concerned about the safety and well-being of his employees. Despite numerous challenges, he mobilized teams to meticulously deliver emergency supplies—such as bottled water, instant noodles, candles, lighters, flashlights, and portable chargers—to every employee’s household. These relief items have become a source of warmth and hope for affected employees at their most anxious, helpless, and desperate moments; choked voices and streaming tears are the heartfelt response to the company’s genuine care. Assuming social responsibility has always been the company’s guiding principle. Though the road ahead is fraught with obstacles and peril in the wake of such a catastrophe, compassion and sincerity will never be intimidated by hardship. The company has made every possible effort to donate large quantities of emergency supplies—including instant noodles and bottled water—to nearby villages and towns, while also providing free food and lodging for more than 60 disaster victims on its premises. To date, the company has donated relief supplies worth over RMB 80,000. According to the Interim Measures for the Graded Cultivation and Management of High-Quality Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, innovative SMEs that have been publicly announced are granted a validity period of three years. Upon expiration, enterprises must log back into the cultivation platform to conduct a self-assessment; if the assessment is approved after review by the provincial-level SME administrative authority—including on-site spot checks—their validity will be extended for another three years. The “Little Giant” designation for specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises represents the highest and most authoritative honor in the evaluation of SMEs.
