Major News: The First Members’ Assembly of the Welding Materials Application Professional Committee of the China Workers’ Welding Technology Association, hosted by Phoenix Welding Materials, Was Successfully Held in Zhengzhou.

The inaugural general meeting of the Welding Materials Application Special Committee of the China Vocational Education Welding Association was chaired by Chu Jijun, Deputy Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Ningbo Intelligent Machine Tool Research Institute Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the China Academy of Machinery Science & Technology Group. Yang Yuting, Vice Chairman of the China Vocational Education Welding Association, and Zhu Jianqing, Secretary-General, jointly unveiled the plaque for the Welding Materials Application Special Committee.

Through the election process, the inaugural general meeting of the Welding Materials Application Special Committee of the China Vocational Education Association for Welding elected 44 director units. Yang Yuting, former Party Secretary and Chairman of Harbin Welding Research Institute Co., Ltd. under the China Academy of Machinery Science Group and Vice Chairman of the Welding Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, was appointed as the Chairperson; Chu Jijun, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Ningbo Intelligent Machine Tool Research Institute Co., Ltd. under the China Academy of Machinery Science Group, Zhang Xiaodong, Chief Engineer of the Mechanical and Electrical Installation Company of the 14th Engineering Bureau of China Water Conservancy and Hydropower, Cheng Xiaohua, Chief Welding Technology Expert at China Nuclear Industry Huaxing Construction Co., Ltd., Shao Dandan, Deputy Director of CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Yin Hongfei, a doctoral and master’s supervisor at Xi’an Thermal Power Research Institute Co., Ltd., Li En, Deputy Director of the Technical Department at Dongfang Electric (Guangzhou) Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., Xue Yutian, Deputy Dean of the Process Research Institute at Sany Automobile Crane Machinery Co., Ltd., and Zhang Yan, Deputy Director of the Training Department at the Harbin Welding Technology Training Center of the China Academy of Machinery Science Group, were appointed as Vice Chairpersons; Guo Xiao, Deputy Director of the Quality Inspection Center of Harbin Welding Research Institute Co., Ltd. under the China Academy of Machinery Science Group, was appointed as the Secretary-General.

The plenary report session was chaired in stages by Vice Chairpersons Zhang Xiaodong, Cheng Xiaohua, and Shao Dandan. Centered on the theme of “Scenario-Driven Applications and Industry-Scale Synergy,” the conference invited leading experts in the research and application of welding materials to provide multifaceted insights into the development, practical applications, and technological innovation in key areas.

Secretary-General Guo Xiao delivered a keynote report titled “Introduction to the Welding Consumables Application Special Committee and Its Work Plan.”

Dr. Yin Hongfei delivered a keynote report titled “Overview of High-Temperature Alloy Welding Materials for Thermal Power Generation.”

Kong Xin, General Manager of Phoenix Welding Materials, delivered a keynote report titled “Phoenix Flux: Melting and Casting Excellence—Every Weld is a Rebirth of Quality.”

Deputy General Manager Qiu Kenan delivered a keynote report titled “High-Quality Raw and Auxiliary Material Supply to Drive the Development of Welding Consumables.”

Subsequently, the inaugural meeting of the First Council of the Specialized Committee on Welding Consumables Application of the China Association of Vocational Education in Welding was held. During the meeting, the council members freely exchanged views and actively put forward their respective suggestions on the needs for technological problem-solving, talent development and nomination, as well as the establishment of a service platform.
