In March 2021, Phoenix New Materials was proudly recognized as one of the 87 enterprises from Henan Province on the second batch of the national “Little Giant” list for specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative companies, as certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China.

According to the Interim Measures for the Hierarchical Cultivation and Management of High-Quality Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, innovative SMEs that have been publicly announced are granted a validity period of three years. Upon expiration, such enterprises must log in to the cultivation platform to conduct a self-assessment; if the assessment is approved after review by the provincial-level competent authority for SMEs—including on-site spot checks—their validity period will be extended for another three years.
The “Little Giant” enterprise for specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative development is the highest-level and most authoritative honor in the evaluation of small and medium-sized enterprises. Phoenix New Materials’ successful inclusion on the public list of companies undergoing re-examination is a strong endorsement of the company’s technological strength, product capabilities, and innovation capacity.

As a member unit of the National Welding Materials Standards Committee, Phoenix New Materials has long been committed to strengthening horizontal collaborations with leading domestic welding-material manufacturers and fostering technological exchange and knowledge sharing with renowned R&D institutions at home and abroad. These state-of-the-art facilities have delivered unparalleled advantages in product stability and cost control, thereby solidifying and maintaining Phoenix New Materials’ leading position in the submerged-arc sintered flux market.
