Leaders of the Shangjie Development Zone Management Committee Visit Zhonghan Heli Company

On October 31, 2023, leaders of the Management Committee of the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone in Shangjie District conducted an inspection and research visit to Zhonghan Heli (Zhengzhou) New Materials Co., Ltd., led by Committee Director Ping Xiangqian and Deputy Directors Zhang Fengkui, Han Wenjun, and Zhao Xiangyang. The visit was accompanied by Company General Manager Kong Xin and Deputy General Manager Yao Run’gang.
Accompanied by the company’s General Manager Kong Xin and Deputy General Manager Yao Rungang, the leaders of the Management Committee first visited the company’s production workshops to inspect safety in production and operations, and thoroughly inquired about post-pandemic developments in production capacity, market sales, R&D investment, and corporate performance. Particular attention was paid to R&D investment—specifically, the upgrading of R&D equipment and facilities and the expansion of the R&D team—both of which are critical to sustaining the company’s long-term growth momentum.
During the symposium, General Manager Kong Xin provided a detailed briefing on the progress of all aspects of Zhonghan Heli’s operations since the pandemic, with particular emphasis on developments this year. He highlighted the company’s specific initiatives and achievements in product R&D innovation and market expansion.
Upon learning that the company has relocated its headquarters to Shangjie this year, vigorously expanded Zhonghan Heli’s market share, and achieved a remarkable doubling of tax revenues compared with the same period last year, Ping Xiangqian, Director of the Management Committee, expressed his heartfelt delight. He warmly congratulated the company on successfully launching trial production and commissioning of 100,000 tons of smelting flux following the earlier rollout of 100,000 tons of sintered flux, marking a significant departure from its long-standing product linearity. He also fully endorsed the company’s proactive efforts this year to recruit top national industry talent in smelting flux and seamless welding wire, as well as to attract fresh graduates from key “211” universities to strengthen its R&D team.
He encouraged the company to build on its outstanding achievements, remain steadfast in pursuing the strategic vision of “building a strong and leading national brand for welding consumables,” and continue to focus on optimizing its product portfolio, strengthening talent development, and increasing investment in R&D. By implementing a comprehensive suite of measures, the company will truly emerge as an industry leader.
The visit and inspection by the leadership of the Management Committee have greatly inspired all employees at Zhonghan Heli. They unanimously stated that they will take this inspection as an opportunity to steadfastly uphold the company’s mission of “setting industry benchmarks and building a national brand,” continue to intensify innovation, enhance product quality, and strive to become a leading enterprise in the welding consumables industry, thereby contributing their part to the vigorous development of the Shangjie District Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone.
