◆ Particle size: 10–40 mesh
◆ Bulk density: 1.4 g/cm³
◆ Current polarity: DC reverse polarity or AC
Application
◆ During welding, it is insensitive to rust spots, scale, primer, and contaminants on the base metal surface, making it suitable for applications where thorough pre-weld cleaning of the base metal is not strictly required; it also exhibits excellent moisture-absorption resistance and outstanding porosity resistance.
◆ The slag solidifies rapidly, eliminating slag sagging during small-diameter circumferential seam welding; it is particularly well suited for such applications. It exhibits excellent weldability, with a smooth arc, easy slag removal, and aesthetically pleasing weld bead appearance.
◆ Limits the number of layers and can be used for welding up to three layers.
◆ Welding of conventional pressure vessels, structural steel, pipeline steel, and liquefied gas cylinders
◆ Particularly suitable for welding pressure vessels such as petroleum gas storage tanks and liquefied petroleum gas cylinders.
