HF-600

Category:

Smelting Flux

It features a stable electroslag process and moderate desulfurization capability, making it suitable for filling deep-groove welds in thick plates of low-carbon and low-alloy high-strength steels when used in conjunction with electrodes such as H10Mn2 and H08MnMoA.

    GB/T 12470-2003

    AWS A5.25M

    Product Information

    Melting-type high-manganese, high-silicon, medium-fluorine flux

    Alkalinity: 1.1

    Particle size: 12–60 mesh

    Current Polarity: DC/AC

    Application

It features a stable electroslag process and moderate desulfurization capability, making it suitable for filling deep-groove welds in thick plates of low-carbon and low-alloy high-strength steels when used in conjunction with electrodes such as H10Mn2 and H08MnMoA.

    Attention

Before welding, bake the flux at 300–350°C (572–662°F) for 60 minutes. Prior to welding, it is essential to thoroughly remove rust, scale, primer, dirt, and weld slag from the base metal surface to ensure a sound weld deposit.

Regularly add fresh flux to prevent flux-related defects and poor weld bead surface appearance when reusing flux.
